No I'm not talking about the old rock band here, I am talking about me. I have had a rough couple of years financially mainly because of my health. I was diagnosed with primary Lymphedema last June, its a manageable disease that attacks the Lymphatic system, in my case the lower legs and I am stuck with it for the rest of my days cause there is no cure but its not lethal. At the sweet age of 50 I find myself applying for disability and SSI, but I also find myself in a most awkward and humiliating position; asking for financial assistance. I need to obtain at least $1,000 rather quickly in order to take care of my mounting health bills and rent, realistically this only will put a small dent in the financial problems that I am having at the moment but at least it will stave off the wolves for a while so that I can get back on my feet in order to better generate some income of my own.
   I am offering my services as an artist to any of my fellow DEVIANTS out there who wish to obtain them. I have tried loans but I do not have the greatest credit in the world and the few friends I have have their own probs and families as I am sure most of you do. I can do a variety of subjects and styles , even design  work if needed, you need only view my gallery here on Deviant to see what I am capable of. I am a very prideful man and believe me, If I could in any way avoid this situation in any other way....I WOULD!
  I ask for any assistance in this matter, I guarantee my best work-top quality to any who can help me on this matter. Great news today; my creator owned project "Mandi" has achieved FULLY FUNDED status at kickstarter and I couldn't be happier! This officially opens the door for her printing and eventual publication. I am currently putting the finishing touches on issue #1 of the series then it will be off to the printers, after which I will be assembling the rewards packages for all those who took part in helping fund her first book. Want to thank all who took part and supported me through this journey. I will be posting updates on her progress towards printing and publication here and on facebook...thanks again for all of your support.

Happy New Year everybody! I know its a bit late for saying that but this is my 1st journal entry of the new year so I thought I would just get it out of the way. 2015 has already had its good moments and bad moments thus far, On the good side my health and spirits are both high and stable, am pretty close to launching my series "Mandi"(after some unavoidable delays) and am generally staying out of trouble. On the bad; am currently unemployed after 3-4 years working at my former job, was unceremoniously let go without logical explanation. My football team was knocked out of the playoffs(Steelers) but they did have a great season and won their division so it wasn't a total loss.
   Even though I am still working on my projects I am also open for commission work, so if you or someone you know is interested in some affordable quality work let me know. My rates are pretty decent, just let me know what you have in mind; to give you an idea of my rates heres a basic foundation;

     single figure colors; $80.00
Multiple character shots like scenes etc will be a bit higher in price but negotiable depending on the details-paid in advance. Just as titled, this is an update on my 1st creator owned project "Mandi". Due to mainly health issues my timetable on my 1st book's release has been pushed back a bit. Originally slated to be out this summer, "Mandi" #1 will instead be coming out this fall/November. I wanted more than anything for her to come out this summer but the delay was unavoidable and I did not want to put a "rush" on this project-my goal is to put out the best possible final product that I can produce. My health seems to have stabilized somewhat so now I am fully concentrated on getting "Mandi" #1 ready for press and publication. I apologize for the delay and will of course go all out on announcing the release of issue #1 once it is ready.....till then stay tuned and as always...PEACE!
